I always try to find the best accommodation for my travels, but faced with many choices, I sometimes find myself wondering if I am making the right decision. This was the case when I was planning my trip to Firostefani, a small village on the Greek island of Santorini. After some online research, I found that there were many types of hotels to choose from, from budget to luxury. I wasn’t sure if spending more for a 3 star hotel was worth it, since I wasn’t familiar with the area and couldn’t be sure that the extra star would mean a better experience.
In the end, I decided to go with a 3 star hotel and I’m so glad I did! My hotel was beautiful, the view from my room was spectacular, and the service was excellent. I met other travelers who had stayed in budget hotels and they were not nearly as happy with their experience. So if you’re wondering if you should spend the extra money for a 3 star hotel when travelling to Firostefani, I say go for it – you won’t regret it!.
